I finally gave the website a redesign. I think I’ve had the old one up since 2017ish (maybe earlier), which is kind of wild when you think about how much the internet has changed since then. The old layout did its job, but it started to feel clunky and harder to navigate as I added more content over the years.

So I decided it was time to clean things up.

The new layout is a lot more organized. I’ve grouped things in a way that actually makes sense now, so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for without clicking through a maze of menus. I’ve minimized the dropdown to category pages for costumes, and all of the individual pages can be found ther. It’s still everything you’d expect from the site—just less chaos getting there.

I also leaned into purple more heavily this time around. It feels more like me and gives the whole site a cleaner look without being overwhelming. I think it really helps tie it all together.

Nothing about the core of the site has changed. I’m still sharing the same projects, interests, and updates, so worry not! That will include my yearly DragonCon posts, of course.

If you’ve been here before, thanks for sticking around. And if you’re new, welcome in. I hope the new setup makes it easier to hang out a while.

hello and welcome!

Here you’ll find costume builds, sewing projects, tutorials, convention adventures, and plenty of fandom-inspired creations. Whether it’s Star Wars, Marvel, Doctor Who, historical fashion, bag making, or the occasional quilting project, I love exploring the intersection of creativity, craftsmanship, and nerd culture.

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea, and join me as I share works in progress, finished projects, lessons learned, and the occasional sewing mishap along the way.
