Anyone else feeling the stress, yet? Looks like we’re *checks notes* 24 days away from the official con start, meaning 23 days before Welcome Home Wednesday, which means 22 days before the hubster and I head out. Shit! I am not ready!!! I’m writing this as a way to keep myself accountable as I work on getting everything finished. *sigh*

Costume Progress:

  • Ghost Agatha:
    • Finish adding bias tape to left armhole
    • Tack down chiffon at front on the inside
    • Add snaps to bolero, jacket, bodice
    • Finesse the edges found and tack down tabs to jacket skirt.
    • Wig:
      • Electronics (All in Keep file)
  • Fembot:
    • Finish gathering of chiffon
    • Sew to inside of bra
    • Mark hem and trim
    • Serge edge and roll hem
    • Attach maribou to tatas and hem of dress
    • Machine gun jubblies (All in Keep file)
    • Style Wig
    • Add maribou to clip for wig and to shoes
  • Princess Donut:
    • Add buckle to scale mail skirt
    • Rideable Mongo:
      • Add feathers to wings, head, and tail
      • Add fur to legs and felt to feet for beans

If I think of anything else, I’ll hopefully update here. The Keep checklists have been very helpful, as have the running spreadsheets I keep for each costume. I need to sit down and break down what’s left over the remaining days – I realistically have two weeks to finish, because I want that week before con to pack and not stress so much. I am so glad I dropped two of my costumes (older, aleady done), because who knows when I would have been able to wear them. Anyway, wish me luck, and I wish you the same! See y’all soon!
