I DID manage to get almost everything on my checklists finished for DragonCon at least. I decided to forego adding fiber optics to the wig for now, but it’s all good.
Here’s what I managed to do and where to go from here.
Ghost Agatha:
Finish adding bias tape to left armholeTack down chiffon at front on the insideAdd snaps to bolero, jacket, bodice and chiffon skirtFinesse the edges found and tack down tabs to jacket skirt.- Wig:

- Things to tweak:
- Add pocket to inner coat for battery pack
- Swap out microchip controller to a bigger battery pack. The standard ones die in about 3hrs. Lame. (To be fair, I am running solid white so that is basically pushing out max power for this setup).
- 3D print housing to hold 10000mAh flat battery pack + internals
- SOLDER ALL THE THINGS!
- MORE SNAPS! Add snaps to gloves and bolero to prevent slipping (oops, they used to fit perfectly, now they’re too big).
- Find a better way to light the brooch from behind (or just dim it a bit). My whole damned neck and under face were alight. Eek.
Fembot:

Rideable Mongo:
Add feathers to wings, head, and tail- Modify legs and feet to be more like cat paws (ADD FELT TOE BEANS)
I’ll do an actual write up with photos and post regarding the con itself soon. I ended up getting con crud immediately after, which put me on my ass for a solid week and a half!
