I am participating in a fantastic charity this year! I am working with Extra Life (as part of Team Nerd 411!), a non-profit partnered with Children’s Miracle Network to help sick kids in need. Be it cancer, cystic fibrosis, injuries, etc…  My local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family’s ability to pay, and the CMN hospital I’ve picked is the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

I’ll be participating in this huge worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers of all kinds from video games to board games and tabletop RPG’s!

Since 2010, Extra Life has raised more than $14 million to help children’s hospitals provide critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitible care.

The official 24 hour game-a-thon is in November, and our team will be playing games for 24 hours straight! It all goes to kids and we have fun in the process.
