HEROCRATE Preview

nerd411logoWorking with The Nerd 411, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to preview / review a crate for HEROCRATE – A monthly hero-themed mystery package. I was asked to do an unboxing and give my thoughts and opinions on the items inside!

A little bit about HEROCRATE

herocrateEvery month a new hero is chosen from the worlds of comics, gaming, pop-culture & more. No subscriptions or contract required.

We obsess over finding the coolest, apparel, toys, and collectibles themed around the monthly hero. Guaranteed a custom t-shirt + 4-6 hero themed mystery items, EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH.

This preview featured none other than that Canadian wonder, Wolverine! (Note – not this month’s theme, this was just a sneak preview / limited edition crate).

The Items Inside:

– Wolverine Funko Pop! Vinyl Bobblehead
– Wolverine ’74 Patch
– Marvel Stack-Ems Keychain (I erroneously called it a USB drive – it’s not)
– Wolverine Mini-Tote bag
– Adamantium Elemental T-Shirt from WeLoveFine

Pros:

Sturdiness The box is solid. There were no dents, crushed corners, or any of that business. Everything was neatly packaged inside and didn’t shift.

Shipping It arrived to my house really quickly! That’s important with a monthly item, because sometimes subscriptions can take FOREVER to arrive.

Value – $29.99 for $50 worth of stuff? Not too bad! I also like that they don’t require a subscription so you can buy monthly or here and there.

Variety – I liked the selection of items. Everything a die-hard fan could ask for. The t-shirt was awesome, and the bag is super handy. The bobblehead is also adorable. I can say that. He’s short. Also it’s Funko.

Cons: Literally my only con was that the keychain wasn’t a USB thumb drive. And that’s just me.

NOTE: For now, they only ship to the United States.

So there you have it! Get yours at www.herocrate.com
