About the Costume: The jacket is a reproduction WW2 American Women’s Ike jacket that had the pockets removed, the belt closure modified, and I dyed it olive green. I also added US Army buttons to the front (though they are a faux closure – I’ll redo it properly eventually). The shirt was a khaki long-sleeved button-down I found on Amazon and chopped the sleeves off of. That jacket’s freaking wool – it’s hot. The tie is a slim brown cotton tie that I also found on Amazon. The SSR lapel pins were purchased on Etsy, I believe. The skirt is an A-line skirt I made from a dark brown material that looked like wool, but it’s a wrinkle-resistant poly blend. The shoes are Hush Puppies Imagery Dress Pumps in Camel. I wore nude stockings with a nude seam up the back, Besame lipstick in Victory Red, and some beautiful pearl/flower earrings that looked like the ones she actually wore in Agent Carter rather than the movie. I didn’t care; I loved them.
